Game in 7 Cards Stud Poker, as well as in Texas Holdem Poker and the majority of other kinds of poker, begins with rate exhibiting "ante".
Rate Ante.
Ante in Stud poker it is obligatory. The size ante depends on a table limit. So, at game of initial level is usually 10 % from the minimum rate, for example, $5 - $10 game will have $0.5 ante. At larger game the size ante can reach 25 % and more, but 10 % are a usual minimum.
Initial distribution of cards (Dealing).
We will use as an example game on $10 - $20. Ante will make $1, (that is 10 %). The dealer distributes maps clockwise, starting to the left of itself. Distribution is conducted on one map, until then while at each of players will not be on two latent maps (pocket cards) and on one opened (door card).
After that it specifies in the player who will start to do rates, and it should be at whom on hands the least of open cards. If there is a situation, that 2 or more players have a card of one advantage all solves colour: in decreasing order of the importance - spade - hearts - diamonds - clubs.
Third street.
When initial cards are handed over game begins. During this moment we have on three cards on a table at each player, and it is called Third Street.
The player holding the lowest card should count equal doubled Ante (2$ in our example). If this player does not do this rate, it is forced to leave game (Fold), and the new player to the left of him should do the rate.
The following player clockwise can bring the same rate (Call), raise the rate (Raise) to the bottom limit in game (10$) or to leave game (Fold). During the third circle the concept of the rate is limited $10.
Fourth Street.
The dealer distributes to all players one more open map. Unlike Third Street in the fourth and the subsequent rates are opened by the player having in the open maps the best combination. Players can throw up one's cards (check) or count (bet). Rates are still limited $10, the rate in $10 fixes all other rates for a round on $10.
If at the beginning player of steam on open cards it can count $20.
Fifth and Sixth Street.
On a card for a circle. All rates are limited $20.
Seventh street.
Last card is distributed in dark (it is called river). Rates to $20.
Disclosing of cards (Showdown).
Rates and Increases are made and remaining players pass to final opening. The beginner shows the closed cards. If the player wishes to play further with the hand, it also show the closed cards, or he can refuse game and dump cards (Fold).
In a casino it is responsibility of the dealer to name the winner as it is defined by the best hand with 5 cards by usual rules of Poker. In on-line games the program defines the winner, and sweat passes to him. Each player has the right to request, that to him have shown any final hand which has been dumped (mucked) though it first of all is intended for game in a usual casino. It is true for any version of Poker, but is even more true for seven-card Studą: rules - only the beginning. Strategy and skills make game.
